Care Notes
For experienced hobbyists only. Highly predatory — cannot be housed with any fish small enough to fit in its mouth. Demands soft, acidic water (pH 5.5–6.5 ideal), pristine water quality with powerful filtration, and regular water changes. Furnish with large driftwood and overhangs for security. Feed large worms, prawns, large cichlid pellets, and quarantined feeders. Does not tolerate poor water conditions.
