Welcome to Jungle Express. By using this website and placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Refund Policy and Shipping & Live Arrival Policy.

Our products

We sell live fish, reptiles, plants, and related supplies. We work to describe and photograph our animals and products accurately, but live animals naturally vary in size, color, and pattern and may differ from photos. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, to purchase from us.

Live animals

Our animals are sold as pets and for responsible private or hobbyist keeping only. They must never be released into the wild, which is illegal and harmful to native ecosystems.

Legality where you live is your responsibility

Laws governing which live animals may be owned, imported, transported, or received vary widely by state, county, and city, and they change. Before you order, it is your responsibility to confirm that the species you are buying is legal for you to own and to receive at your delivery address, and to obtain any permit or licence your jurisdiction requires. We cannot research this for you, and we make no warranty that any animal we sell is lawful in your location.

By placing an order you represent that the species you have selected is lawful for you to possess and to receive, and that you hold any permit it requires. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jungle Express is not responsible for any fine, penalty, seizure, confiscation, refused delivery, or other loss arising from a purchase that is restricted or prohibited where you live.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we believe the species is restricted or prohibited at the delivery address, or where required documentation is missing. If we do, we cancel before the animal ships and refund you in full.

We do not ship live animals to Hawaii. Hawaii prohibits the import of most non-native animals, including all snakes and geckos, and permits are required even for species on its conditional list. Live animals cannot be sent to Hawaiian addresses.

Turtles under 4 inches. Federal law (21 CFR 1240.62) prohibits the sale of live turtles with a carapace under 4 inches. We do not sell hatchling turtles.

Ordering & shipping

You agree to provide accurate, complete shipping and contact information. Live animals ship overnight under the terms of our Shipping & Live Arrival Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You are responsible for being available to receive your shipment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jungle Express is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, products, or animals after delivery. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of your purchase applies to that order.
